Getting Set For Marriage

TO MY CO- BACHELORS GETTING SET FOR MARRIAGE: KNOWING SHE’S THE ONE

Every time young and unmarried people ask “How would you know she is the one?” Listen to a gteat counsellor G.S as he gives a great insight

” I just journey back again into a 7 year courtship (no I don’t mean 7 months). We got together just as I was exiting a very rough self inflicted illusion of love and this was the person who, by herself, brought me out of the mud and wiped me clean.

“I don’t know how you feel but I can imagine it. If you want, I will be here and help you back up”

…..and she did. With her, I learnt that when you are able to trust a woman enough to keep money you don’t want to spend with her then you have found a wife.

Her presence in my life became a default and decisions became sort of incomplete without her.

You are still thinking about 7 years right? Oh yeah, that was her waiting for me to get life together and when I asked to break up so that she could move on instead of waiting, she said “If you know you are no longer interested, let me know but if it is because of waiting, it is my life, let me decide when I am tired of waiting”. Haba , abi I dey craze ni to not know that I had reached bus stop?

Small thing, my mum would be calling her to report me, E dey happen to you too abi? bros you go soon marry (let’s kobet it)

You’d think, spending that much time together, there’d be boring times. Nope, everyday was a new adventure and the talk never dried out. All of these in addition to character, humility and compatibility just confirmed everything.”

Not every story will be like this but you have an idea of what the above signs can mean. When you find a woman you never seem to get tired of talking to, who, no matter how much she annoys you would still leave you wanting to talk and play with her, who you trust enough with your money and secrets, who respects you and your family, generally makes you happy and matches your health, character and other compatibility checks then you know you have found her.

Get it right today.

Good evening

BREAKING: Crystal Palace sack Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew has been sacked as Crystal Palace manager with the club just above the relegation places, the Premier League side’s chairman Steve Parish said on Thursday.

Pardew, 55, guided Palace to last season’s FA Cup final where they lost to Manchester United in extra time but their Premier League form this term has been poor.

They have won just four of their 17 matches and only one of their last 11, and are presently only a point above the relegation places.

The immediate frontrunner to replace Pardew appeared to be Sam Allardyce, whose England reign lasted just one match before he had to resign after making ill-advised remarks to undercover reporters.

“I would like to put on record our sincere gratitude for the tremendous service Alan has given us, both in his time here as manager and previously as a player,” said Parish in a statement published on the club website.

“Following a fantastic second half of 2014/15, the 2015/16 season culminated in only narrowly missing out on winning the FA Cup as well as securing our Premier League place for a record breaking fourth time.”

Parish said Pardew, who played for the club as well and described his return when appointed manager in early 2015 as a homecoming, had left a legacy which would benefit Palace for years to come.

“During his tenure Alan’s hard work and dedication were without question, he has improved so many areas of the club and we wish him the very best for the future,” said Parish.

“With games now coming thick and fast over the holiday period the club are hoping to put someone in place as quickly as possible but have nothing to say about a replacement at this time.”

Pardew, whose previous managerial jobs include West Ham United, Southampton and Newcastle United, said his “special bond” with the Eagles had not been affected by the ending of his managerial reign.

“I would just like to take the opportunity to thank everybody at Crystal Palace for their fantastic support,” said Pardew.

“In particular a big thanks to the players who gave me absolutely everything and Steve Parish and his Board.

“Personally I have a lot of good feelings for this football Club and am sad that my time there has ended.”

I’d marry an entertainer only if… –Korede Bello

Many entertainers would readily say they cannot get married to someone in their industry for several reasons. However, for music sensation, Korede Bello, getting married to an entertainer is not really a problem. While chatting with Saturday Beats, he gave the only condition for to marrying an entertainer.

He said, “I can marry an entertainer if the world would not give us problems.”

At the moment, Korede Bello claims he is single and not in a relationship. He also spoke about his type of woman.

“If you follow me on my social media platforms, you would get to know who my girlfriend is very soon. When you see her, you would know. I am still single but the thing that I look for in the opposite sex is honest and positive attitude. It does not really matter what the person sounds like but she must be beautiful,” he said.

No doubt, this year has been a good one for the singer and his other label mates especially Reekado Banks. In fact, many people believe that there is a silent rivalry between them but the artiste was quick to change that notion.

He said what exists between him and his label mate is a ‘healthy competition’.

He said, “I have a healthy competition with Rekado Banks. Like most people have noticed, when he drops a hit song, shortly after, I drop mine or someone else on the label drops theirs. I do not see anything wrong with it. The only kind of competition that exists is a healthy one and it is like we sharpen ourselves. It is just like two swords sharpening themselves. I am not just talking about Reekado but every other person on the label. We have been dropping hit songs back to back. It is a healthy competition on the label, no rivalry or negativity.”

The artiste who doubles as a police ambassador is making frantic efforts at uniting the police and the media and he gave reason for taking such steps.

“I organised the programme whereby the police would meet with the media because I believe that the bond between both parties needs to be tighter. Apart from being a police ambassador, I am also a part of the media by the virtue of what I am studying in school and I am a member of the society. This is part of the steps in which I aim to bridge the gap between the police and the media,” he said.

My New Year resolution – World’s fattest man

A Mexican man believed to be the world’s most obese plans to undergo gastric bypass in the new year and reduce his 590 kilos (1,300 pounds) by half, his doctor said Wednesday.

The man known as Juan Pedro has diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic lung obstruction, and needs to reduce his weight dramatically to reduce his health risks, doctor Jose Castaneda Cruz said.

He said the man, who does not give his family names to media, would actually undergo a couple procedures along the way.

“It’s surgery that is going to be done in two parts. That is because of the high risk of complications he faces. So it’s going to be done in two parts, six months apart,” Castaneda told reporters.

In the first procedure, surgeons will remove more than three-quarters of the patient’s stomach.

And in the second procedure, his remaining stomach will be partially blocked, helping to give a feeling of fullness. Juan Pedro would also undergo intestinal surgery, his doctor said.

Castaneda wants him to lose 59 kilos in the first six months, which alone reduces his risk of obesity-related cancer by 52 percent.

Juan Pedro, 32, has a good chance of losing half his body weight by about six months after his first surgery, according to his medical team.

“Slowly but surely, I’ll get there,” Juan Pedro told reporters.

Must Read: MMM has finished me ooo!!!!

I borrowed 200,000 to do this MMM that has been trending, just to get a little thing and send the money back to the owner.

However,my trouble began when after providing help, I requested to get help of 290,000 and all MMM could do was to merge me with my landlord whom I’ve been owing rent of 250,000.

Now see what my landlord did: he called me on phone to say, “Tosin, it seems MMM matched me with you to pay you 290,000”
Me: Hhhmm! Yes sir!
Landlord: I hope you still remember my rent of 10 months you’re owing me?
Me: I will pay sir.
Landlord: I will just upload your house rent receipt and you will confirm me, then later come and collect your remaining balance in my house.

What will you do if you were in my shoes?
Having headache.. because of mmm

Participant Narrates How God Saved Him From The Clutches Of MMM

In spite of the federal government’s warnings against it, many Nigerians continue to invest in MMM, one of the world’s largest Ponzi schemes of all time.

The scheme got popular in 2016 and its philosophy is to financially empower its members who are committed to helping one another.
However, recently the MMM Nigeria announced the freezing of its accounts for one months, which caused a panic among its participants.

Boniface Peter, the NAIJ.com guest contributor, in this piece narrates how God saved him from participating in MMM. I was tempted to join MMM by my friends and relatives. I told them am praying about it and when the pressure was heating me hard about their progress made so far, God saw that my mind was ready to give it a trial and so, He prevented me from doing it by allowing MMM shutting down all accounts and taught me a LESSON.
He saved me and gave me a second chance, praise God!!! Nigerians pray before you join any online business or money deal, I believe you all have a lesson to learn, if they are giving out real money, why don’t they allow people to get it in this period whereby money is necessary to spend? My people are perishing for lack of knowledge!
